Lucy Matisse

(Art by me!) On Tuesday, August 25th, 2026, Dolly Parton passed away. I made this art in honor of her memory. She was the Queen of Country music and an absolute legend, and I have been a big fan for a long while. When I heard the news, I shed some tears. It’s her story that tugs on my heart….How incredible and inspiring- from a tiny country shack of twelve children to one of the greatest music legends of all time. That’s what made her so great. She didn’t grow up privileged.
