Honoring Dolly Parton

On Tuesday, August 25th, 2026, Dolly Parton passed away. I made this art in honor of her memory. She was the Queen of Country music and an absolute legend, and I have been a big fan for a long while. When I heard the news, I shed some tears.

It’s her story that tugs on my heart….How incredible and inspiring- from a tiny country shack of twelve children to one of the greatest music legends of all time. That’s what made her so great. She didn’t grow up privileged. But, as her music career rocketed, she used her well-earned privileges and fame to help others.
